• A journal
• A pen
How to use the SOAP method:
S - Scripture:
Take time to slowly read and meditate on the
Word. Write out and pause on a verse that
stands out and speaks to you.
O - Observation:
What is God speaking to you about through
this scripture? Ask God to reveal what He is
teaching you.
A - Application:
Take some time to reflect on how the scripture
can be applied to you personally. Is God giving
you instruction, correction, encouragement or a
promise?
P - Prayer:
Take some time to listen to what God has to
say. Ask God to help you apply His Word daily.
